Description
McLaren MP4/4 #12 Ayrton Senna 1988 Japanese Grand Prix Winner 1:64 Scale Model Car
The Honda-powered MP4/4 is the most dominant car in Formula 1 history, winning fifteen of sixteen races in 1988. At Suzuka, Ayrton Senna stalled on the grid and dropped to fourteenth, then carved his way back through the field in worsening drizzle to win the race and take his first World Championship. Mini GT models that car in 1:64: the low, slender Gordon Murray monocoque in white with red flanks and nose flashes, #12 on the nose and airbox, Honda and Shell branding, Goodyear Eagle slicks, a tall engine airbox behind the cockpit, multi-element front and rear wings, and a seated Senna figure in his yellow, green and blue helmet.
